Outstanding Students of Nuristan University Honored in the Presence of the Provincial Governor

The outstanding students of the previous spring semester from the Faculties of Sharia and Education at Nuristan University were honored at a ceremony organized by the General Directorate of Student Services and Coordination, attended by the Governor of Nuristan Province, Al-Haj Qari Zain-ul-Abidin Abid.

The ceremony, aimed at encouraging and motivating students, was held at the PDC Center. Members of the university leadership, professors, administrative staff, and students participated in the event.

As in previous ceremonies, the program began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. In his welcoming speech, the Deputy Academic and Student Affairs, Professor Abdullah Abid, praised the efforts and hard work of the outstanding students who had achieved such a high level of academic performance.

Following this, the Provincial Governor delivered a comprehensive speech on supporting the students and university and providing assistance to them. He congratulated the outstanding students, their professors, and their families on this achievement.

The Governor encouraged the students to use their education and knowledge to continue producing positive writings and engaging in constructive efforts in support of their system and homeland amid the ongoing intellectual and media struggle.

He also renewed his commitment, as in the past, to cooperate with the university in all areas.

At the ceremony, Muhammad Shoaib Mazloomyar, Director of Youth Affairs of the province, also delivered a speech on behalf of the youth. Mawlawi Sediqullah Sabawoon, Deputy for Financial and Administrative Affairs of the university, spoke about the university’s achievements and development.

Likewise, the university’s President, Professor Hamidullah Abid, in his regular speech, expressed his appreciation to the outstanding students and professors for their achievements. He also thanked the provincial administration, particularly the Governor, for their comprehensive cooperation and assistance to the university.

At the end of the ceremony, the outstanding students were honored by the Governor with cash awards and received honorary gifts from the university.
